Job Description:
Develops application enhancements of moderately complex scope,
using .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, C#, VB.NET, Web APIs, SQL Server,
Dapper, and LINQ. Designs and develops new applications that sway
the productivity and nature of business activity groups, using SQL
scripts/stored procedures and relational databases. Designs
engineering architecture for feature systems spanning Web and
application front ends, APIs, microservices, and databases.
Analyzes and recommends changes in project development policies,
procedures, standards, and strategies to development experts and
management. Develops architectural solutions for user interfaces,
communications, and data storage services. Primary Responsibilities: Represents the development team in scrum meetings and works with
business partners to analyze business requirements. Participates in architecture design teams and implements
application level architecture. Analyzes business requirements, storyboards, and artifacts of
the scrum process. Performs a buy versus build analysis to determine which third
party software and tools are critical to buy. Determines which systems are required to support the strategic
goals of business requirements and creates business documents. Determines if proposed solutions are feasible and achievable
from a financial, technical, and organizational standpoint. Develops algorithms according to business requirements. Produces clean, efficient code according to specifications and
business logic. Recommends development testing tools and methodologies and
reviews and validates test plans. Oversees application upgrades and assists with platform
implementations. Proactively identifies potential issues with applications as
they are developed. Analyzes test results and coordinates with testing teams for bug
fixes. Generates test summary reports for management review. Analyzes root causes of performance issues and provides
corrective actions. Establishes full project life cycle plans for complex projects
across multiple platforms. Plans and coordinates project schedules and assignments for
multiple projects. Acts as a primary liaison for business units to resolve various
project/technology issues. Provides technology solutions to daily issues and technical
evaluation estimates on technology initiatives. Advises senior management on technical strategy and mentors
junior team members. Performs independent and complex technical and functional
analysis for multiple projects supporting several divisional
initiatives. Develops original and creative technical solutions to on-going
development efforts. Education and Experience: Bachelors degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer
Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems,
Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and five (5) years
of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of experience
developing and designing .NET based Web and desktop
applications. Or, alternatively, Masters degree (or foreign education
equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information
Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely
related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered
or three (3) years of experience developing and designing .NET
based Web and desktop applications. Skills and Knowledge: Candidate must also possess: Demonstrated Expertise (DE) providing architecture designs for
.Net based applications; developing and designing technical
architecture and infrastructure for Web and Microsoft Office
applications deployed on a Windows platform, using .NET Core,
ASP.NET MVC, C#, and VBA or VB.NET, LINQ, and SQL Server; and
creating and maintaining Continuous Integration/Deployment (CI/CD)
process using Azure (DevOps). DE designing and building integrated applications, using Signal
R, SQL dependency, IBM RDNG Jazz platform, and RESTful Jazz
APIs. DE writing T-SQL or PL-SQL queries, LINQ queries, stored
procedures, triggers, and functions, database schema design, and
tables design in Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle. DE developing complex, Object-Oriented software programs using
Visual Studio; developing User Interface (UIs), using HTML,
JavaScript languages (jQuery, Vue JS, and Angular), cascading style
sheets (CSS), and Salesforce Lightening Design System; developing
RESTful services (using .NET Core Web API) and Web services (using
ASMX) in ASP.NET to implement business logic and interact with
databases (SQL/Oracle), using Dapper or Entity Framework; and
developing unit and integrated test cases, using N-Unit or X-Unit
