Account Expense Management & Analytics department is currently
seeking an Associate Accountant to join our department to assist
with Accounts Payable, which includes voucher review, vendor
management database approvals, journals, accruals, account
reconciliations, Chrome River analysis, annual IRS 1099 analysis
and reporting, and other departmental projects. This role is
located in our Fairfield, OH headquarters. Be ready to:
- assist with voucher review to ensure accuracy
- assist with vendor management review and approvals
- analyze expense report data
- complete and analyze account reconciliations, journals,
accruals, and amortizations
- analyze state sales tax data and report to states
- correlate and track Expense Committee approvals with spend
- assist with Business Continuity and annual testing
- assist with annual IRS 1099 process
- ability to handle large volume workload while maintaining
accuracy, organization, and ability to prioritize multiple
responsibilities within set deadlines
- assist with daily projects and other tasks when needed
- provide excellent customer service through clear, accurate and
friendly interactions with internal and external customers
Qualification: Be equipped with:
- ability to adjust, embrace and thrive on change
- strong attention to detail and technical aptitude
- knowledge and experience of Accounts Payable practices and
processes, including strong knowledge of IRS reporting regulations
a plus
- strong analytical, problem solving, decision making, logical
thinking and judgement skills
- passion for customer service and the ability to empathize with
customers
- excellent organizational, time management and co mmunication
skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to
multi-task
- the ability to work on teams yet able to work independently
under time constraints
- advanced level Microsoft Excel skills
- Chrome River expense a plus
- PeopleSoft Financials experience a plus
- willing to work beyond normal scheduled work hours as necessary
You've earned:
- bachelor's degree in Accounting or are in the process of
completing a Bachelor degree in Accounting Enhance your talents
