How You'll Perform the Role
The Senior Financial Analyst will have an active role in the monthly financial reporting, budgeting, financial and production forecasting with a focus on process improvement. This role will assist the Senior Manager - Financial Planning & Analysis in partnering with the WNA FP&A and Accounting team in the development of the annual plan, as well as reforecasts. The Senior Financial Analyst will report to the Senior Manager - Financial Planning & Analysis.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in the coordinating of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) with cross functional teams such as Operations and Sales; including budgeting revenue, cost of goods sold and other operating expenses.
  • Analyze actual financial results vs budget/forecast and prepare variance reports
  • Create and update financial reports on a weekly, monthly and yearly basis and present the information to leadership teams.
  • Work directly with the WNA FP&A & Accounting teams to consolidate monthly financial performance
  • Responsible for the consolidation of WNA month P&L forecast and interim forecast updates
  • Establishes and maintains effective work relationships within the department, the Corporation, and the community; maintains the professional competence, knowledge and skill necessary for the satisfactory performance of all assigned responsibilities.
  • Help drive reporting consistency among the WNA plants, including COGS, Labor & Overhead and SGA
  • Perform special short/ long- term financial planning and analysis projects.
    What We Need From You
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics from an accredited College or University required.
    • Strong preference for experience in global manufacturing companies
    • A minimum of three (3) years' experience in a Financial Planning & Analysis role required.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Access
    • High concern for detail and accuracy required.
    • Demonstrated excellent written and verbal skills with ability to convey complex information to internal and external customers in a clear and concise manner.
    • Proven ability to coordinate multiple projects and tasks simultaneously. Must demonstrate strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
    • Capable of working independently with little direction from management; self-motivated
    • Hyperion (HFM) experience highly preferred.
