Accounting is currently seeking an Associate Accountant to assist a team of accounting professionals in payment processing including expense and vendor management. You will learn to use accounting software systems and analytical tools. You will perform tasks to support the accounts payable process, assist in containing expense and follow regulatory guidelines for reporting. Promotional opportunities to the Accountant position exist with above an average performance review in this role after one year.

The pay range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 annually. The pay determination is based on the applicant's education, experience, location, knowledge, skills, and abilities. Eligible associates may also receive an annual cash bonus and stock incentives based on company and individual performance.

To assist qualified associates with their goal of achieving the CPA designation, Cincinnati Insurance offers a program that includes study time, financial support for the exam and additional required education, and financial incentives to attain the CPA.

Be ready to:

• review voucher processing and assist with vendor management
• perform financial analyses and support accounting processes
• prepare daily, monthly & quarterly accounting entries, expense accruals and expense analyses
• assist with annual IRS 1099 processes and state tax reporting
• perform account reconciliations, software testing, and track expense projection to actual spend
• participate in accounting projects that support the company in maintaining our competitive edge Qualification: Be equipped with:
  • ability to use basic accounting principles for financial statement preparation
  • strong attention to detail, highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks concurrently
  • willingness and ability to learn and use accounting and analytical software systems
  • ability to effectively use Microsoft Excel
  • above average communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
  • ability to work independently or collaboratively without hesitation to ask questions
  • demonstrate aptitude to lead and embrace change You've Earned:
