Description:VonLehman CPA & Advisory Firm is currently seeking a Senior Accountant (Audit & Tax) to support our VonLehman & Company & R--dl & Partner Joint Venture!You will work with a select team providing audit and tax services to predominately US -Inbound International Businesses (primarily German/European owned) in the manufacturing and distribution industry. Also, due to our joint venture with R--dl & Partner, Senior Associates will have the opportunity to participate in our International Senior Associate week in Nuremburg, Germany if qualified!What you will do:Lead and supervise audit engagements in a variety of industries concentrating on manufacturing and distributionDevelop and execute audit programs by documenting objectives, identifying risks, evaluating controls, and designing test procedures associated with the audit scopePerform technical accounting and tax research on a variety of topicsPrepare tax provisionsPrepare complex income tax returns including federal, state, locals, etc. for primarily C-CorporationsReview less complex income tax returns for primarily C-CorporationsShow awareness of significant tax issues and opportunitiesProvide timely and high-quality services and deliverables that exceed client expectationsMaintain active communication to manage expectations and ensure client satisfactionPrepare clear, concise workpapers and other communicationsImpart knowledge, facilitate staff development, and provide training and learning experiencesEffectively delegate and oversee the work efforts by setting goals, providing resources, and removing obstaclesTeam with shareholders and senior managers on proposals and business development opportunities for the Joint VentureProvide timely training, coaching, and performance feedback to staff associatesRequirements:What you need to bring:Minimum of 3 years of professional experience including experience in public accountingBA/BS degree in Accounting or master's degree in accounting/taxationCPA license or similar certificationDedication to teamwork and leadershipIntegrity within a professional environmentExcellent research, writing and communication skills in EnglishDesired Qualifications:Experience in the manufacturing and distribution industryCCH AxcessProSystem fx EngagementWriting and communication skills in German (not required)
