Job Description Job Description Industrial Belting & Transmission is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Accounting team as a Staff Accountant ! In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks including: Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records Processing invoices Reconciling bank statements Assist AR collections Reconcile accounts including AP and AR. Assisting in the preparation of monthly financial reports Maintaining general ledger accounts Supporting Senior Accounting staff in various projects as needed Assist with sales tax compliance in multiple states Answer the phones and direct calls to the correct person/department. Answer the door and facilitate visitor sign-in. Assist with month-end and year-end accounting duties. Perform various other duties as assigned to meet business objectives. Requirements: 3 years of experience in Accounting Must have a solid understanding of basic Accounting principles. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Experience with Accounting software is preferred. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Ability to work on-site; Monday - Friday Knowledge with supplier rebates.
