The Recruiter /Executive Admin will have both administrative and strategic responsibilities, helping us to plan the foundational HR processes and recruit the best talent.   • Create and execute a plan for recruiting and hiring top logistics and technology talent in the Cincinnati area.Partner with local Universities to create a pipeline for potential candidates. Create and implement a new recruiting and interview process Participate in recruiting events to attract new employees Review applications and resumes. Interview and rate new candidates for the purpose of introducing them to the hiring executive(s). Manage the relationship with the current PEO in order to ensure they are working in the best interest of Lighthouse. Assist in developing and executing personnel procedures and policies, providing guidance and interpretation for business operations Participate in development of HR objectives and systems, including metrics, queries, and standard reports for ongoing company requirements Participate in the selection of a new HR technology to help with recruiting, onboarding, training and on-going management of employees. Suggest new procedures and policies to continually improve efficiency of the HR department and organization as a whole, and to improve employee experience Work with Lighthouse executives as an admin in order to support their day-to-day objectives.Daily and Monthly ResponsibilitiesCreate and document recruiting process and present to leadership Reach out to University representatives in order to build relationships Create and manage new job descriptions for each role Build relationships with Erigo (PEO) and document areas where Lighthouse can slowly move away from their services
    • Prepare paperwork, schedule, and facilitate smooth new hire onboarding process, coordinating with cross-functional departments to deliver an exceptional first-day experience
      • Handle all administrative tasks for onboarding, new hire orientation, and exit interviews, including entering data into HR information systems and auditing for accuracy and compliance
        • Ensure Erigo is working on Lighthouse's behalf for payroll processing, including; bi-weekly and semi-monthly updates to employee files, bonus/incentive pay, tracking vacation/sick pay, importing expense reimbursements, inputting exceptions, hourly employee validations, and benefit changes
          • Assist in the communication, interpretation, and upkeep of employee handbook, employee directory, and organizational chart, and contributes to the development of policies
            • Executive Admin: Set up and coordinating meetings, agendas, and take meeting notes,Setting up and managing company events Coordinate and manage travel for customer visits or company events.Skills and QualificationsBachelor's degree in HR, business, or a related field 2-5 years of HR, or recruiting experience Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, ethics, and cultural awareness Resourceful, problem-solving aptitude and thorough knowledge of HR procedures and policies Advanced knowledge of MS Office, HRIS systems, and comfortable learning new technical systems as neededPreferred QualificationsProven experience working in an HR department Natural interpersonal and communication skills Strong detail-oriented and resourceful mindset Knowledge of HR federal laws and regulationsJob Type: Full-timePay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per yearBenefits:
