This role delivers administrative and project support for Retail Distribution Officers of Protective Life as well as essential support for employee programs at the Cincinnati Core site. Responsibilities:This role will support at least the SVP of Distribution Operations and the Retirement Division Chief Sales Officer and select members of their teams. Support will include:* Calendar management, individual and team* Setting up and facilitating meetings* Preparing presentations* Planning and executing travel logistics* Completing expenses reports* Managing vendors and invoices* Select projects The Cincinnati office is one of three Core Sites for Protective. This senior administrative assistant role will also be essential to ensuring a positive employee and visitor experience. Support will include:* Primary reception person for guests and new employees* Support for Employee Engagement Council (EEC) meetings and events* Support for Charity and Community Engagement planning and events* Oversight of key employee amenities (fitness membership, dining discount, parking)* Managing office employee logistics - Accurate headcount, seating charts, communication distribution lists, badge activation and distribution, site calendar* Collaborating with various teams to plan and execute key group meetings* Teaming with other administrative assistants at the site to enable the above Knowledge/Experience: * Minimum of 5 years of experience in administrative office support, preferably for senior executives* Extensive experience using computer software including: PowerPoint, Excel, Microsoft Office * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Experience coordinating travel plans for executives. Abilities:* Positive presence - strong Interpersonal skills, ability to work with all levels* Can do attitude - problem solver, continuous process improvement orientation* Highly effective - organized, able to multi-task, accountable and holds others accountable* Technology savvy - learns and leverages technology to improve personal and team productivity * Able to maintain strict confidentiality* Event planning and / or project management experience preferred* Understanding of Insurance / Distribution preferredEmployee Benefits: We aim to protect our employees' wellbeing through a broad benefits offering.
