Job Description Job Description Winterwood, Inc. is seeking qualified Construction Technicians to join our team. Under the general supervision of the Construction Superintendent, the Construction Technician will assist with project execution by performing a variety of hands-on tasks at job sites. This role involves general labor and construction support, with an emphasis on carpentry. The ideal candidate will have basic carpentry experience, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Travel Requirements: This role requires regular travel within the state of Kentucky and overnight stays as needed. Position Details: Job Type : Full-Time Work Schedule: 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM (Monday-Thursday) Compensation : $18.00-22.00 per hour based on experience What We Offer: Mileage reimbursement provided at the current IRS standard rate 100/month cell phone reimbursement $400/year tool allowance $50/day per diem for overnight travel (if applicable) Travel and lodging covered by the company (if applicable) Comprehensive Benefits Package, including: 401(k) with company match Medical, dental, vision, disability & life insurance Paid time off: vacation, sick leave, and 11 holidays Employee referral program Opportunities for growth and career advancement Qualifications/Requirements: Previous experience in construction or carpentry. Knowledge of framing, drywall, casework, door installation, etc. Ability to perform physical labor and adapt to varying weather conditions. Ability to lift up to 75 pounds. Punctual, reliable, and dependable. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required. Willingness to travel long distances as needed. Successful completion of all pre-employment screenings, including drug testing and background checks. Key Responsibilities: Operate a variety of hand and power tools, including drills, forklifts, and other tools as directed by management. Clean and prepare the job site as needed to assist in the progression of the job. Perform general labor duties which may include but not limited to framing, hanging drywall, painting, hanging doors and windows, cabinetry Maintain a safe and clean job site by handling materials and storing them properly, picking up and removing all tools and equipment when not in use, and securing the job on a daily basis. Follow all safety procedures on the job site and report violations immediately to management. Load and unload construction supplies as needed. Assist other construction staff as needed.
