Job Description:

We are looking for energetic, enthusiastic educators to provide care for children ages 6 wks - 5 yrs. Candidates must be committed to providing quality care to our children, while meeting state standards with their lesson plans. Come help us hide knowledge in play while seeking fun in learning!

We are looking to fill Full Time positions, as well as Part Time positions for both AM and PM hours.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Planning, supervising, and implementing the program for the classroom in accordance with the policies and philosophy of the center

Have knowledge of, or become knowledgeable about KY state regulations, the STARS program, and age appropriate screening tools (training offered as needed)

Individualized Lesson Plans

Responsible for ordered arrangement, appearance, decor, safety of the children, and learning environment of classroom

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be able to meet the requirements of the licensing agency

Must be a sensitive, mature individual with communication skills that relate to both children and adults

Must be willing to work collaboratively with other staff, as well as families, to ensure positive outcomes in child(ren)'s development and learning

Must be dedicated to fostering a sense of curiosity in the outside world and introspectively within the students

Must be able to "go with the flow" to accommodate center-wide activities(e.g. Library Day visits from the Racing To Read van, etc.)

Must be prepared to provide quality care regardless of students' culture, race, socio-economic background, gender, or abilities
