Job Description:

The Senior Network Engineer will be responsible for managing IP networks and ensuring their optimal performance.Key ActivitiesProvide support to gain and retain customer satisfactionProvide consultation on optimal local area network topologyFollow up on cases as well as escalate them for timely resolutionPeriodically report on crucial network parameters such as uptime, reliability, availability etc.Build network topologyOn an on-going basis, proactively monitor the health and performance of network and analyze network trendsProactively identify, analyze, troubleshoot, and diagnose network issuesResearch alternative solutions or workarounds to the problemAppropriately escalate issues to responsible parties depending on the problem area.Document issues and resolution for future reference in Knowledge Base.Perform other duties as assigned.Education and ExperienceBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, related certifications or comparable experience requiredMinimum six years of related experience.Skills and AbilitiesMust have diverse knowledge in technology, to include design and implementation in broad range of technologies.Must have a broad range of skills within a professional discipline to effectively perform complex assignments and demands familiaritywith principles, theories, concepts, and technologies as well as applied knowledge of established procedures, policies, and practices.Must have independent thinking and demands full use and application of principles, theories, and concepts in IP technologies.Understanding of and experience with Cisco iOS and Cisco Wireless is a must.Understanding of and experience with Juniper JUNOS is a major plus. Experience with SRX security appliance is very desirable.Experience with Palo Alto administration required.Experience and strong understanding of Aruba is required.Strong customer interfacing backgroundExcellent communication skills both oral and written.Must be able to work independently and on multiple projects/activities concurrently.Must be disciplined and oriented in practice of and adherence to process and procedures#LI-CH1HOW WE KEEP YOU SAFE:Consistent with our commitment to maintain a safe workplace free of known hazards, all employees and visitors are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
