I am recruiting for a mechanical engineer to develop new and modify existing assemblies in the manufacturing environment for a stable but growing company in the Covington area.

Education and Experience Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Manufacturing equipment design/modification experience required
• Proficient use of 3D design software (SolidWorks preferred)
• Must be able to run and evaluate FEA analysis
• Strong technical skills in materials, manufacturing, quality, and design Responsibilities
  • Oversees major mechanical design, machine optimization, and equipment sourcing/installation projects to meet our customers goals.
  • Assists in the engineering planning, introduction, and implementation of new initiatives and process improvements.
  • Work with the Service Maintenance department for identification of parts, preventative maintenance plans, and documentation to maintain implemented equipment
  • Working with associates from the Engineering, Production, Maintenance, R&D, Sales, and Quality Assurance to improve manufacturing equipment, controls, processes, and procedures
