About the position: The facilities electrician is responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical systems across all airport buildings, facilities, properties, and equipment, with secondary support for airfield electrical systems. This skilled role ensures safe, reliable electrical operations throughout the airport and plays a critical part in snow/ice response to keep airport operations running during inclement weather. This role involves indoor and outdoor work with exposure to noise, chemicals, moving equipment, electrical hazards, and extreme weather. Heavy physical activity, climbing, lifting up to 80 lbs., long periods of standing, and operation of vehicles/equipment are required. Snow removal during inclement weather is mandatory.
