Job Description:Searching for an experienced Compensation Consultant interested in having a significant role in building a client focused fast paced consulting practice.The RoleThe role has responsibility for providing thought leadership on rewards trends, leading projects, collaborating with internal client contacts on new business, and assisting in developing and practice materials, methodologies and tools. This will include identifying client needs and developing presentations, then leading and driving teams to deliver projects and support to clients.This role will also partner with colleagues who have varied rewards experience to define marketplace needs and sales opportunities, create sales collateral and solutions, and present these to internal stakeholders and clients.The Expertise and Skills You BringExperience developing and managing reward programs in US domestic and international markets, including development of program strategy in collaboration with business leaders and business units, and administration of equity compensation programsExperience with equity plan strategy, modeling, and design at private and public enterprises, as well as experience managing organizations and their compensation and equity programs through an IPO process, mergers/acquisitions, or other corporate transformationsExperience designing communication channels to drive employee education and awareness of compensation and equity programsWorking knowledge of the market, trends, regulations, and political environment impacting equity and compensation programs.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the capability to analyze complex and diverse issues requiring significant interpretation and attention to detail.Proven interpersonal and leadership skills including the ability to communicate clearly and build relationships at multiple organizational levelsOutstanding teamwork skills and strength in leading enhanced client relationshipsAble to effectively manage, balance, and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced work environmentA college degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field, as well as 12-15 years of consulting or corporate experience relatedHow Your Work Impacts the OrganizationThe VP Consultant will have a significant opportunity to contribute, guide and influence the ongoing growth and development of the practice.
