ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the presentation and sale of
existing and new perishable, service deli, bakery and Starbucks
products to Kroger category managers at Kroger General Office in
Cincinnati. Also directs brokers and manufacturers to assist in the
coordination of the promotion and sale of existing and new
products. Develops, attains and sustains positive working
relationships between associates, its customers and vendor
partners. Communicates Kroger directives, reports, policies, new
and delisted authorizations to all the divisions. Key linkage
between Kroger GO and KeHE/DPI division Account Executives. Ensures
flawless execution of existing and new items, program and
initiatives. Leads cross functional team on internal and external
strategies and initiatives to achieve customer goals and
objectives.Essential Functions--Leads the perishable, service deli,
bakery, Starbucks sales planning process with Kroger Category
Management team.Leads the development, stewardship and delivery of
the business plan in partnership with KeHE/DPI divisions, vendors
and Kroger.Interface with Kroger with a general management
approach, bringing strategic value opportunities to the customer
that span multiple categoriesGrows level of customer satisfaction,
maintains win/win business relationships and ensures effective
communication with all key buying influences and vendors.Aligns
system resources and collaborates cross-functionally to implement
sales, marketing, new item and operational programs.Responsible for
problem solving selling, operational and executional issues with
the customer and vendor.Accountable for delivering annual plan
budget (Sales and Gross Profit) and owns the stewardship of the end
to end value chain.Initiate and develop marketing programs to drive
sales and financial performance of the assigned account.Manage
inventory performance related to existing and new items,
promotions, demonstrations, themes, and advertisements.Monitor
customer performance related to existing and new items, promotional
activity, sales/usage, order discrepancies, out-of-stock, shortage
reports, and excess inventory. Respond to and resolve existing and
potential customer issues and concerns.Responsible for the
resolution of billing discrepancies including unauthorized
deductions, credits and bill backs.Oversee promotional activity
with customers including allowances, type of support,
demonstrations, and theme support. Manage market spending for new
item roll-outs, new item authorizations, and annual promotional
activity.Ensure the completion and accuracy of new item,
promotional and distribution forms, along with demonstration
schedules and advertising support schedules and contracts.Oversee
all new items, promotions, demos, new store openings, theme
support, and cross merchandising and coordinate efforts between the
customer and sales/customer/merchandiser service personnel in a
timely and accurate manner.Minimum Requirements, Qualifications,
Additional Skills, Aptitude--Bachelor degree - PreferredFive to
seven years of progressive responsibility with National account
management in large consumer goods organization, specialty grocery
or distributor.Complex selling knowledge with proven ability to
create and sell-in customer specific promotional programs & key
initiatives.Knowledge of vendor/manufacture and broker environment
and systems and business development planning experience.Knowledge
of trade fund and common business analytics.General management
experience and skill set.Proven ability to manage needs and
concerns of multiple stakeholders across various business
systems.Positon based out of the KeHE/DPI Cincinnati
OfficeTravelMust have excellent customer service and sales selling
and relationship skills.Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal
communication skills and high level of initiative.Requisition
