Cath Lab RN assesses implementation and evaluation of patients in
Cath Lab. - Assists with Cath procedures, medication administration
and monitoring of Cath patients - Performs all aspects of patient
care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces
the likelihood of medical/healthcare errors. - Ability to formulate
an individualized plan of care, revise plan as indicated by the
patient's response to treatment, and evaluation overall plan daily
for effectiveness. - Monitors, records, and communicates patient
condition as appropriate to care team, provider, patient and family
following chain of command as appropriate. - Collaborates as needed
across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient
transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support
needs. - Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and
provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture,
condition, and circumstances. - Works as an advocate for the
physical and emotional well-being of the patient protecting
patient's rights. Minimum Qualifications: Education: - Associate's
degreerequired - Bachelor's degreepreferred Certifications: - Basic
Life Support (BLS) required one month from hire date - Advanced
Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required six months from hire
date License: - Registered Nurse licensed to work in the state of
