Lab RN assesses implementation and evaluation of patients in Cath
Lab. Assists with Cath procedures, medication administration and
monitoring of Cath patients Performs all aspects of patient care in
an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the
likelihood of medical/healthcare errors. Ability to formulate an
individualized plan of care, revise plan as indicated by the
patient's response to treatment, and evaluation overall plan daily
for effectiveness. Monitors, records, and communicates patient
condition as appropriate to care team, provider, patient and family
following chain of command as appropriate. Collaborates as needed
across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient
transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support
needs. Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and
provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture,
condition, and circumstances. Works as an advocate for the physical
and emotional well-being of the patient protecting patient's
rights. Minimum Qualifications: Education: Associate's degree
required Bachelor's degree preferred Certifications: Basic Life
Support (BLS) required one month from hire date Advanced
Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required six months from hire
date License: Registered Nurse licensed to work in the state of
