qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Louisville, Kentucky, 40202! Pay

Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Intensive Care Unit
(ICU) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12
hours Experience: 2 years License: RN License Certifications: ACLS,
BLS, NIH Must-Have Skills/Experience: ICU experience Cardiac ICU
experience Experience with Pulmonary Artery Catheters Experience
with Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump Description: This position requires
experience in a Cardiac ICU. Candidates should have familiarity
with Pulmonary Artery Catheters and Intra-Aortic Balloon Pumps. The
unit cares for medical and cardiac ICU patients. The patient ratios
are typically 2:1, with rare instances of 3:1 for short periods.
Required equipment includes SWAN, IMPELLA, IABP, ARTIC SUN, ZOLL
IVTM, EKOS, CADD, IV PLUM Pumps, and Peritoneal dialysis systems.
The electronic medical record system used is Cerner. The ideal
candidate will demonstrate qualities such as humility, energy,
compassion, adaptability, and a strong team-oriented approach. This
role includes the opportunity to be a resource for fellow nurses.
The dress code consists of Galaxy Blue tops and bottoms, with black
scrub bottoms only. Additional training may be required during the
orientation week. This position is within an academic medical
