Continuous bladder irrigation - Chemotherapy administration
certification - Wound vac Description: This position requires a
Registered Nurse with a minimum of two years of acute care
experience. The role involves working in a supportive and
teamwork-focused environment. The nurse will be tasked with
monitoring and caring for patients in a telemetry setting.
Knowledge of reading telemetry strips is essential for this
position. The patient-to-nurse ratio is 5:1. Common diagnoses and
procedures include a variety of cardiac and oncology conditions.
Common equipment utilized includes IV pumps, feeding pumps,
dynamaps, medication Pyxis, and PCA pumps. Common medications
administered include blood pressure medications, heparin, pain
medications, cardiac medications, and chemotherapy (which requires
certification). Charting is done through the EPIC system. Scrub
color required is galaxy blue.
