Pay Information $1,984 per week About The Position Job Title: RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Rehabilitation Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years License: Registered Nurse Certifications: BLS, NIHSS Must-Have Skills/Experience: Trach Care and G-Tube Ventilator Description: All candidates must be flu vaccinated. The role requires working in a rehabilitation setting. The position involves caring for pediatric and adult patients. The unit has a mix of pediatric and adult patients with varying acuity levels. The patient ratio is 1:6 during the day and 1:8 at night. Equipment used includes tube feeds, ventilators, trach care, Alaris IV pumps, Hoyer lifts, Kangaroo pumps, and negative pressure wound therapy. The electronic medical records system used is Cerner. A compassionate personality is essential, along with strong communication skills. There is an expectation to educate patients and families. Applicants should be self-learners. The dress code requires scrub color to be Galaxy Blue. Unacceptable attire includes hoodies, t-shirts, sweatshirts, and any attire outside of the uniform. The position is a contractor replacement. Employees may be required to float to other units as needed. Weekend hours are from 7 PM to 7 AM every third weekend.
