Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Stepdown - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Travel RN – Night Shift – Cardiac Step-Down Unit – Rudd Heart Hospital, Louisville, KY Address: 200 Abraham Flexner Way, Louisville, KY 40202 Department/Cost Center: 5003309 Position Details - Role: Registered Nurse (RN) - Specialty: Intermediate/Step-Down Cardiac Unit - Openings: 1 - Shift: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM - Hours: 36 hrs/week guaranteed - Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend - Call Requirement: None - Float Requirement: Yes – must float to any PCU or Med-Surg units ?? Certifications & Licensing - Required Certifications: - ACLS - BLS - NIHSS - Active Kentucky RN License - Experience: Minimum 2 years in Cardiac/PCU Must-Have Experience - Cardiac PCU/Step-Down experience - Post-Op CABG (Coronary Artery Bypass Graft) care - Dysrhythmia and chest pain management - CHF and pacemaker/AICD patients (pre/post placement) ? Preferred Skills - Post-Cath Lab sheath removal - Familiarity with cardiac drips including: - Amiodarone - Cardizem - Primacor - Dobutamine - Dopamine - Heparin ?
