Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Indianapolis,
Indiana. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PCU -
Progressive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/09/2026 -
Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days -

Details: • Work in Progressive Care Unit specializing in
post-cardiac and post-vascular surgery patients • Patient ratio of
1:3-5 based on acuity for both day and night shifts • 24 hours of
orientation provided • Work every other weekend with potential for
consecutive weekends based on operational needs • Floating required
to different levels of care (Med-Surg, PCU, ICU) within facility
and affiliate hospitals • May be required to assume charge nurse
responsibilities with training and resources provided • Must have 2
years of nursing experience with Level I or Level II Trauma
experience • Required certifications: ACLS and BCLS • Required
skills: Telemetry monitoring, cardiac drip titration, IV starts,
interpretation and management of dysrhythmias • Must have strong
cardiac and post-operative heart surgery experience • Work with
multiple cardiac drips and use Alaris pumps • Care for adult and
geriatric patients • First-time travelers accepted but must have
strong PCU experience • Call-ins must be made up during pay period
or added to end of contract • Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays •
Flu vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only
