qualified PACU/Pre-Post Op RN in Lexington, Kentucky, 40536! Job

Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS required Must-Have: -
Experience in IR PACU with phase 1 recovery - Pediatric patient
care experience - Willing to obtain PALS certification before start
Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse in PACU.
Candidates will rotate between multiple start times. Experience in
phase 1 recovery is required. Candidates must have at least 2 years
of experience in their specialty. Late stays may be required
periodically. Must be able to care for pediatric patients in
recovery. Shifts will vary according to the unit needs, with
potential early start times. Compliance with certifications for
advanced life support is necessary. Candidates should be prepared
to monitor phase 1 recovery and ICU patients. Expectation to
perform pre-op assessments and care for patients post-procedure.
Pediatric recovery experience is crucial but does not need to be
from a dedicated pediatric unit. Candidates will float to other
areas as needed to ensure patient care continuity. Call
responsibilities include specified hours during the week and
weekends. Frequent communication with multidisciplinary teams is
essential for patient care. Candidates should be aware of and
comply with all facility requirements and policies. A demonstration
