Director of Regional Outreach plays a critical leadership role in
advancing the philanthropic mission of Norton Children's Foundation
by building and sustaining transformational relationships with
donors across an assigned region. This role requires an experienced
results-driven fundraising executive who thrives in a dynamic,
strategy-focused environment and is motivated by meaningful impact
on pediatric health care. Reporting to Foundation leadership, the
System Director partners closely with executive stakeholders and
advancement colleagues to design and execute a comprehensive
regional major gifts strategy. The position manages a high-level
portfolio of leadership and major gift donors, with a focus on
long-term relationship building, donor engagement, and
philanthropic alignment with institutional priorities. The Norton
Children's Hospital Foundation raises funds to support programs,
equipment, facilities, clinical research, advocacy, and education
for Norton Children's Hospital, the only freestanding pediatric
hospital in Kentucky and Southern Indiana. This nationally focused
role requires frequent travel within the region and offers the
opportunity to work with one of the country's top-ranked children's
hospitals. Key Responsibilities - Partner with Foundation executive
leadership to develop, implement, and measure regional fundraising
strategies aligned with system-wide objectives. - Manage and grow a
portfolio of leadership and major gift donors, identifying and
advancing opportunities for gifts of $25,000 and beyond. - Build
trusted relationships with donors and prospective donors by
aligning their philanthropic goals with Norton Children's Hospital
priorities. - Design and execute strategic, personalized donor
engagement plans encompassing identification, qualification,
cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship. - Serve as a central
contributor to the Foundation's major gifts strategy, collaborating
across advancement functions to maximize donor impact. About Norton
Children's Hospital Norton Children's Hospital is Kentucky and
Southern Indiana's only full-service, freestanding pediatric
hospital with pediatric and adolescent specialists and
subspecialists representing more than 35 areas of focused clinical
care. Located in downtown Louisville, the 300-bed children's
hospital is the region's only Level I Pediatric Trauma Center and
provides a complete range of care and support services just for
kids, including pediatric sedation, child life and expressive
therapy, spine and orthopedic care, solid organ transplant, bone
marrow transplant, diagnostic and pediatric radiology, and
emergency psychiatric services. In addition, Norton Children's
Hospital includes an accredited Level 4 epilepsy center, 24-bed
pediatric intensive care unit, 17-bed cardiac intensive care unit,
pediatric cancer care center and one of the nation's largest Level
IV neonatal intensive care units. Each year, Norton Children's
Hospital cares for thousands of children who receive inpatient
care, outpatient care or services in the emergency department.

Norton Children's announced plans for a new 150-acre pediatric
health campus in Jeffersontown, Kentucky, which would include the

Required: - Minimum of five years of experience in major gift
fundraising, including direct solicitation of gifts $25,000 and
above - Bachelor's degree Desired: - Seven or more years of major
gifts experience - Master's degree - Certified Fund-Raising
