Job Description Pyramid Consulting (Travel) is seeking a local contract nurse RN NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care for a local contract nursing job in Cincinnati, Ohio. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/02/2026 - Duration: 8 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Local Contract Job Title: RN NICU Location: Cincinnati, OH Shift: Nights, 3X12, every other weekend Duration: 8 Weeks Required Education: - Diploma of Nursing - BSN (Preferred) Required Certifications & Licensure: - Ohio RN License or Compact. - BLS (American Heart Assoc.) - NRP Unit Description: - The level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is a new 15-bed unit. - The NICU can care for very preterm, 28 weeks gestation, to term infants that require additional support. - The range of medical conditions include but are not limited to respiratory support, feeding assistance, neonatal opioid withdrawal syndrome, glucose instability, and antibiotic therapy. - NICU RNs attend all high-risk deliveries and assist with initial assessments as needed. - Staff RNs provide evidence-based care and place special emphasis on skin-to-skin, breastfeeding, and safe sleep practices.
