Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Radiology Technician - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 03/23/2026 - Duration: 14 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist (X-Ray) with OR experience and ARRT certification for a night shift weekend contract at a Level 1 trauma facility. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Hospital-based X-Ray department within a Level 1 trauma center - Patient population includes all ages - Complex case experience required, including femur and tibia nails, pelvis, and advanced spine imaging - 3x12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM - Saturday, Sunday, and Monday schedule - On-call required with a 1-hour response time - Candidates whose permanent residence is within 100 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position - Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 6 months before returning as a traveler - All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of submission; RTO requests submitted after that point will not be approved /n /n Requirements/n - Active ARRT certification required - Active BLS certification required - Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (KBMIRT) licensure required; pending license acceptable but must be obtained prior to start date - Minimum experience in OR, ER, and port procedures required - Level 1 trauma experience across all age groups preferred - Experience with complex orthopedic and spine imaging cases required - 2 supervisor references from within the last 3 years required for consideration - License required if applicable /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-677783.
