Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is seeking a Radiology
Technologist with at least 1 year of experience in stationary and
portable imaging for a 13-week travel contract in Ohio. Details -
Medium-sized radiology department with 3 stationary rooms, 3
portable units, and 4 C-arms - Average daily patient volume of 140
- Procedures include stationary and portable radiography; C-arm
experience is preferred as the role may involve working
independently with C-arm equipment - Occasional assistance with
transporting ED CT patients during slower periods is appreciated -
Schedule is Monday–Thursday, 3:00 PM–1:00 AM (4x10 night shifts) -
13-week contract - Epic EHR experience preferred - PACS experience
preferred Requirements - Minimum 1 year of experience in radiation
safety and patient care - Proficiency with stationary and portable
radiography required; C-arm experience preferred - ARRT
certification and registration required - Active Ohio Radiology
license required - BLS (AHA) required - Associate's degree from an
ARRT-accredited program preferred - Candidates must reside more
than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for the travel pay
rate - Proof of address, full SSN, and DOB (MM/DD) required for
consideration - 1 supervisory reference required for consideration
- Driver's license or other proof of home address required for
consideration Additional Information - Responsibilities include
obtaining patient history, positioning patients for imaging,
applying radiation protection principles, performing radiographic
procedures, evaluating image quality, and documenting patient dose
exposures - Assists licensed practitioners with fluoroscopic and
specialized radiography procedures, including aseptic technique as
needed - Administers medications and contrast agents as prescribed
by a licensed practitioner - EKG exam is not required for this
