As part of our driving team, you will operate in a dynamic environment that upholds the highest industry standards while promoting safety and operational excellence. Safely and efficiently operate a Class A truck in compliance with all state, federal, and local regulations. Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes following the best practices. Conduct inspections of vehicle before and after trips, maintaining electronic logs of working hours and vehicle statuses. Plan routes and meet delivery schedules, coordinating with dispatchers and other team members as required. Engage in load and unload processes ensuring the security and integrity of the cargo. Communicate effectively with clients and team members to provide updates and solve discrepancies if any arise. Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards. Effective time management to handle schedules and deadlines. Excellent physical condition to meet the demands of heavy lifting and prolonged driving. Profound geographic knowledge and efficient route planning skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Completion of a certified truck driving school is preferred.
