LUMEN'S INTERNSHIP PROGRAM IS A PATH FOR CAREER READINESS IN THE 4TH INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION.

THE MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
THE RESPONSIBILITY WOULD BE AND NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
Participating in peer code reviews to improve the quality of code written by other team members

Debugging computer code to fix errors and improve performance

Building test scenarios and test cases
Analyzing data to identify trends and formulate solutions
Document the components and/or views properly
WHAT WE LOOK FOR IN A CANDIDATE
Education Requirements
Enrolled at a 4-year accredited college or university, rising senior or master's level education status at the start of the internship, graduating August 2023 - May 2024.

Major/Degree: In pursuit of degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar technical degree field.

Proficiency and understanding of:
Experience with Python
Experience with SQL (or similar database)

UX Design experience

Some experience in any programming languages and or framework such as:
Typescript
JavaScript
Angular
React
Professional Attributes
Strong drive for results and taking initiative
Ability to be resourceful and adaptable

Ability to collaborate and have agility while making effective decisions

Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to interact with business partners and drive the conversation.
Flexible and adapts well to change
Work Setting
Fully remote, nationwide

Intern must be able to work 30-40 hours be week during the 10-week program (June - August)
