About the team:
At Worldpay, we are on a mission to modernize our technology and
supercharge developers with APIs that are simple to integrate yet
powerful. The Developer Experience and API Product team owns the
vision for how we empower developers with innovative tools,
products, and delightful self-service experiences.
Our team builds the API Platform and developer tools that enable
Worldpay's integrations across the world. This team plays a pivotal
role in Worldpay, focusing on our API products and end-to-end user
journeys in our developer portals. This team's priority is to drive
the strategy that enables Worldpay to deliver world-class
experiences at every customer touchpoint. Because this team unifies
capabilities across the merchant product portfolio, this is a
highly collaborative team that works closely with stakeholders
across the organization as well as internal teams such as other
Product leaders, UX, engineering, operations, sales, and
marketing.
What you will be doing:
Worldpay powers the technology behind some of the most innovative
companies in the world and is known as the leading provider in the
industry. As the Product Manager for API & Developer Experiences
you will be responsible for building products, including any/all
user-facing applications, APIs, and any partner relationships we
leverage to deliver these experiences to our developer community.
You will use data-driven methodologies to evaluate opportunities in
the market, deeply understand user needs and integrate competitive
intelligence to build a compelling roadmap that expands Worldpay's
market-leading proposition. You will manage every stage of the
product development lifecycle from ideation through development,
GTM delivery and launch. You will also drive the identification and
measurement of KPIs and closely monitor success of your product
deliveries. The ideal candidate is an experienced Product Manager
with real-world experience leading a product that is technical in
nature, targeted for Developers.
The Product Manager will be a product champion, a great team player
who works with encouraging approach with cross functional teams.

This is an individual contributor role. Within the role, your key
responsibilities will be to:
Own one or many developer products (e.g.: APIs, client libraries,
webhooks, gateways, middleware, and developer portals.) from
product definition and planning through production, release,
distribution, maintenance, and end of life.
Build the product roadmap based on clearly articulated customer and
business value, with a focus on understanding Product-market fit,
developing effective go-to-market processes, including training
plans, and ensuring effective delivery of Product propositions in
new markets.
Build collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders within
operations, marketing, sales, and other cross functional teams to
drive product success.
Engage and interact with clients during feedback sessions, focus
groups and requirements gathering sessions.
Contribute to the product vision and strategy, act as the
evangelist for your product with senior leadership and be the lead
advocate for investment in the strategy.
Work directly with design, architecture, and engineering to
prioritize, manage your backlog of new features, small
enhancements, bug fixes and all other design and development
activity related to your products.
What you bring:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering or the
equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
Post-graduate education desired.
Deep product management experience at a fast-paced company.
Proven hands-on experience with APIs and Developer tools/portals,
as a developer, architect, or product manager.
You have a strong understanding of developer community, and
interest in developer-focused thought leadership and
evangelism.
You have a customer-centric approach, have intuition for great user
experiences and have an amazing ability to understand the
customer's challenges and can articulate a vision to solve
challenges to make an impact.
You have led new software features and/or new software products
from ideation through GA/launch in an Agile environment.
You have a strong work ethic and know how to knock down barriers to
achieve to your objective.
You can work effectively with distributed teams in multiple time
zones across US, Europe, and Asia
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical and
non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization,
e.g., executive, management, individual contributors
Proficiency in problem solving and time management skills managing
multiple deadlines.
Proficiency to operate independently and within a
multi-disciplinary team with minimal supervision and guidance from
Product Leadership
Bonus if you have:
