Position Summary:
Introducing Nestl-- Purina's new Williamsburg Township, Ohio,
factory - just 30 miles east of Cincinnati. This world-class
factory will be built from the ground up to produce a wide variety
of some of the most trusted and beloved pet care brands in the U.S.

As a Controls Tech Specialist I, you will be responsible for
troubleshooting, maintaining and enhancing the accuracy,
reliability and system control's data credibility of PLC and
PC-based automation systems. You will oversee PLC upgrades and
wiring modifications on production equipment, and work directly
with our maintenance team to troubleshoot and support production
line modifications.
The first few months of this role will be project-related with the
goal of planning and developing the department as we approach
operational startup, working a Monday-Friday 8am-4pm schedule. This
position will require up to 10% travel to other Nestl-- Purina
operating facilities within the U.S. for training purposes. Once
the Williamsburg Township factory reaches operation, the shift for
this position will be 6am-6pm, operating on 2-2-3 schedule model
(Week 1: two days on, two days off, three days on; Week 2: two days
off, two days on, three days off).
Primary Responsibilities
Perform troubleshooting of automation systems and provides
instrumentation, PLC and HMI/SCADA software and hardware support to
the maintenance staff.
Execute plant projects and capital projects through conception to
completion.
Maintain an up-to-date and complete set of as-built electrical and
controls documentation.
Coordinate and implement control system software upgrades.
Perform Network Administration and Data Administration tasks for
networked, PC based, control systems related equipment.
Develop, read, and interpret all electrical schematics, wiring
diagrams, and programs essential to plant operation; provide
updates as necessary.
All other duties as assigned.
Basic Requirements
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
3+ years' applicable experience in PLC software and hardware
troubleshooting and/or PC-based HMI systems
OR
Associate's Degree in a technical discipline
1+ years' applicable experience in PLC software and hardware
troubleshooting and/or PC-based HMI systems
Other
Must be willing to travel up to 10% for training purposes to other
Nestl-- Purina factory locations within the U.S.

The approximate pay range for this position is $62,000 to $83,000.
Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate
for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may
vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge,
skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
