Job Details Description Summary: As a key member of the CDI PMO
leadership team, the PMO Manager, Demand and Capacity, will oversee
IT Workforce demand and capacity management within our Project
Management Office, supporting the CDI IT organization. In this role
you will leverage your robust background in workforce capacity
planning and project management, along with your exceptional
analytical abilities, to enhance the efficiency of the CDI IT
organization. This role will utilize their leadership capabilities
to lead and mentor a team of Business Analysts to continuously
create and improve processes to prioritize work effectively,
addressing the substantial demands placed on the IT organization.
This role is critical to define and enhance resource planning and
capacity analysis, ensuring optimal IT Workforce/resource
allocation, project prioritization, and alignment with
organizational objectives. Play a vital leadership role in
empowering the CDI IT organization to scale effectively in response
to significant company growth while increasing transparency across
IT departments. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include the
Following: Spearhead a PMO-led initiative to replace the existing
PPM tool, enabling systematic resource planning and management
capabilities across the IT organization leveraging automation to
reduce manual effort, increase accuracy and streamline resource and
demand planning processes. Identify and implement best practices to
effectively manage IT resource demand and capacity across the
organization using data-driven insights to recommend improvements
and optimize project delivery processes ensuring efficiency and
effectiveness in IT maintenance, support and project execution. Act
as a key liaison between the PMO and other departments,
facilitating communication and collaboration to address project and
resource needs. Collaborate with PMO directors and department heads
to identify and prioritize projects based on strategic value and
resource availability. Generate and present reports on demand and
capacity metrics, project status, and resource utilization to the
CDI IT leadership team and other stakeholders. Conduct in-depth
analysis of resource and demand data to identify trends, risks, and
opportunities for improvement. Stay up to date with industry best
practices and incorporate them into the organization’s demand and
resource management strategy, providing guidance and support to
project teams on resource management best practices and tools.
Manage and mentor a team of Business Analysts, providing guidance,
support, and professional development opportunities driving a
high-performance team environment fostering collaboration. In
collaboration with the PMO Business Analysts, continuously review
and improve the project intake processes assessing project scope,
scale, complexity and resources needed. Responsible for daily
administration of the team, including recruitment, performance
management and compensation management. Set clear performance goals
and expectations for direct reports, conduct regular performance
reviews and providing constructive feedback. Lead by example
setting high standards and holding teams accountable. Continuously
review and enhance PMO demand and intake processes and tools to
support better decision-making and project outcomes. Other duties
as assigned. Regulatory Ability to obtain racing and/or gaming
licenses as required in any jurisdiction where CDI operates. The
Gaming industry is highly regulated and as such demands an
extensive background check to obtain a license. Must be 21 years of
age or older. Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in
Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field;
MBA a plus. Five or more years of experience in project management
or capacity planning roles, with at least three years in a people
leadership role. Proven experience in managing and developing
teams, with a track record of successful people leadership and
mentoring. Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
with multiple, concurrent projects. Demonstrated history of
leadership and experience interacting with C-suite executives. High
proficiency in demand forecasting, resource planning, portfolio
management and project management processes and tools. Excellent
analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make
data-driven decisions. Project Management (PMP) certification is
strongly preferred. ITIL Foundations certification preferred. Six
Sigma/Lean methodology experience preferred. Required Skills:
Ability to navigate and manage complex organizational structures
and influence decision-making processes. Strong communication and
interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with
stakeholders at all levels. Excellent analytical and
problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data
and make informed decisions. Ability to adapt to new and changing
business environments. Ability to operate under the pressure of
strict deadlines. Strong ability to influence others without direct
authority. Proven ability to lead and develop a team fostering a
high-performance environment. Physical Demands/ Working Conditions:
Extended periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Regular use of a keyboard and mouse for typing and navigating
software. Viewing a computer screen for prolonged periods. Ability
to manipulate paperwork, including filing, sorting, and organizing.
Moving within the office environment to attend meetings, use office
equipment, or interact with colleagues. Occasional lifting of
office supplies or paperwork (up to 20 pounds). Speaking and
listening to colleagues and clients in person, over the phone, or
via video conferencing. Working in a climate-controlled office
environment with moderate noise levels. Performing repetitive tasks
such as data entry or document preparation. Working under
artificial lighting conditions typical of an office environment,
which may include fluorescent or LED lighting. Working onsite five
days a week from the CDI corporate headquarters office located in
