life better for people around the world. Commercial Demand Planning
Lead to be responsible for standardizing the demand planning
operations and forecast methodology and developing baseline
forecast in collaboration with EU Liaisons and commercial teams, at
the same time, run the processes focused on the integration of
market intelligence and the coordination of Supply Chain with the
Business units in IBU. This role will also serve to integrate and
run those business process associated with the management of the
late life cycle of our products. Responsibilities include acting as
first interphase in the communication and escalation processes
impacting the short-term supply with the BU, and lead the Hub
S&OP’s for the periodic review of the mid/long-term demand and
supply reconciliation. This role will also represent global supply
chain on those activities specifically associated around the Late
Life Cycle of products such as support to Business development, SKU
rationalization, sourcing decisions, etc. This leadership position
is also responsible for developing, motivating, and growing a team
of regional coordinators and product experts in support to this
function. Successful candidates will have a wide understanding of
the supply chain, business, and financial processes, with a
strategic mindset - able to apply deep technical understanding to
meet the needs of the business and will be able to influence across
functions and geographies and at multiple levels within the
organization. This position reports to the Associate VP of IBU
Supply Chain. Responsibilities: Functional: Standardization of
Demand Planning Operations in IBU Establish standards and framework
to improve accuracy of demand forecasts for commercial assets based
on historical data, market trends, inputs from relevant
stakeholders Establish and streamline exception management
processes to troubleshoot demand planning related issues &
escalations Monitor KPIs for commercial demand planning processes
Identify and implement best practices to stay current with industry
trends and innovations in demand planning and supply chain
management to improve processes and systems Support to IBU
processes Support the Allocation process for all IBU in partnership
with Finance Triage process for shortages related to SC Support
with IBU metrics, reports and analysis Lead SC Interface with the
European Hubs Serve as the Global Supply Chain interphase in the
communication/escalation processes with the BU’s of product supply
related issues. Lead the Hub S&OP’s for an effective periodic
review of the mid/long term demand and supply reconciliation with
the appropriate BU and finance representation. Coordinate within
the manufacturing organization the supply evaluation for those
different time frames short/mid/long term. Lead the knowledge
management exchange from both manufacturing and business
organization on the supply chain elements. Build SC capabilities
across the globe, with the reference of OSSCE, and the use of tools
and data. Demand review with the European Hub affiliates by
exceptions, in order to achieve the best forecast possible
Collaborate with Global Supply Planning functions for alignment and
building consensus on commercial forecast to balance supply with
demand Report key demand shaping decisions and outcomes to
leadership Leadership: Influence senior management on key decisions
related to demand forecasting for commercial products Demonstrate
sound technical knowledge to influence BU Liaisons, manufacturing
team and Global Supply Planning team to arrive at demand forecast
consensus Manage and develop a high-performing team to meet
objectives and deliver results Provide guidance for development and
coaching to direct and indirect reports Basic Requirements:
Bachelor's degree plus minimum of 10 years of experience in
business, supply chain management, or a related field 5 years of
experience in demand planning, preferably in the pharmaceutical or
healthcare industry Experience with selecting and implementing
planning technology solution Experience with developing &
implementing demand planning framework & strategy, processes,
performance metrics, modeling, forecasting, analysis, and
simulation. Leadership experience Additional Skills/Preferences:
Advanced degree or certification in supply chain management Strong
analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and forecasting
tools Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the
ability to collaborate effectively across functions Detail-oriented
with a focus on accuracy and precision Six sigma green / black belt
with relevant experience Commercial and financial awareness with
Project management skills (PMP Certified preferred) Familiarity
with regulatory requirements and compliance in the pharmaceutical

on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic
location. The anticipated wage for this position is $150,000 -
$220,000 Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a
company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual
