*Peer Support Specialist - Summary*

NorthKey Community Care is seeking *full-time or part-time Peer Support Specialists* to provide a variety of behavioral health, recovery-oriented services to individuals with mental health and substance use diagnoses to promote greater independence, community integration, and recovery. *This position will be based in Covington, Kentucky.*

*This position requires a Kentucky Peer Support Specialist Certification.*

*Peer Support Specialist - Qualifications*

* High school diploma or above is required.
* Kentucky Adult *Peer Support Specialist Certification is required*.
* Relevant knowledge, training, and experience.

*Peer Support Specialist - Responsibilities*

* Provide a variety of recovery-oriented, peer support services to individuals with mental health and substance use diagnoses to promote greater independence, community integration, and recovery.
* Assist clients individually and in groups as part of a treatment team.
* Co-lead assigned groups with therapists to provide support to participants.
* Meet with clients in the community throughout Kenton, Boone, and Campbell counties to provide services.
* Complete all required documentation for individual and group work within the Electronic Health Record.
