Senior Warehouse and Operations Manager

The Senior Warehouse and Operations Manager will be instrumental in developing warehousing, goods inwards, stock control, dispatch and logistics to a high standard. This position will ensure that Health & Safety requirements are adhered to and that every member of staff is working in a safe and clean environment. The Senior Warehouse Manager will be accountable for the general upkeep and security of both stock and operations in the US and will report to the European management. All local employees, including Warehouse Supervisor and Team Leads will report to the Senior Warehouse Manager.

Key tasks for the Senior Warehouse and Operations Manager:

• Functional - ensure the warehouse teams run efficiently, effectively and provide outstanding customer service - in accordance with Company policies, procedures, practices and legislative requirements. This includes ensuring that all risk assessments are strictly adhered to as dictated by law. Manage all racking and storage systems and ensure the security of stock at all times.

• Personnel - oversee warehouse staff and ensure that all are managed correctly ¿ make certain they perform their duties and tasks in an efficient and timely manner. Oversee the working environment to maintain 100% safety.

• Controlling - take the lead role unloading the container and checking paperwork - leading by example. Will be responsible for designing and implementing a check list system for every container and ensuring processes are adhered to at all times. The Senior Warehouse Manager will assist other warehouse personnel in reviewing and maintaining a concise system of checks as required by OSHA.

Skills Requried:

• Minimum 6 years experience working in a warehouse, distribution and logistical environment

• College degree preferred

• Senior/managerial level experience within a warehouse

• Excellent physical health, Forklift License, First Aider, OSHA knowledge

• Good knowledge of stock systems and stock control

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Knowledge of Quick Books and Barcode systems

• Fully conversant with the MRP system

• Self motivated with the ability to work under pressure

• Ability to lead and motivate a team as well as working as part of that team and adopting a "hands on" approach

The Company will provide Paid Time Off days, holidays and health benefits.

This position will be required to travel to the UK for training and periodically throughout the year as needed.
