Job Title: Medical Technologist (MT) – Laboratory – Nights Location: Bellefontaine, OH Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 12-Hour Nights, Friday–Sunday Key Responsibilities: Perform, evaluate, and report laboratory testing using standard operating procedures Conduct tests in areas including Blood Bank, Hematology, Chemistry, and Microbiology Ensure accurate specimen handling and result interpretation Maintain quality control and equipment calibration in accordance with lab protocols Collaborate with team members to support patient care and timely diagnostics Provide technical assistance and guidance to staff as needed Maintain documentation and compliance with regulatory and safety standards Minimum Requirements: Associate Degree in Medical Technology or related science – Required 1 year of experience as a Medical Technologist – Required National certification (ASCP or AMT) – Required BLS Certification (AHA) – Required Cross-functional ability in all laboratory departments except histology – Required Blood Bank experience – Required Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or related field Experience in a hospital or clinical laboratory setting
