Job Description:

Are you the go?to person for turning blueprints into perfect parts? If you can set up a Haas VMC with confidence and keep tight tolerances humming along, we want you in Greenwood, IN on our 2nd or 3rd shift. What you’ll tackle Translate blueprints, planning sheets, and sketches into a step?by?step machining plan Prep tools, verify fixtures, and align workpieces to meet spec on size, depth, and angle Install cutters in holders, load tool magazines, and secure attachments Load control media (tape, card, or disk) or pull programs from the database Dial in offsets and set speed, feed, depth of cut, and coolant flow Run prove?outs and limited manual programming during setups only with Supervisor approval Start, monitor, and pause machines to change tools or measure parts against the print Correct out?of?tolerance conditions by adjusting controls or editing as needed Switch to manual operation if automation isn’t doing the job Team up with your Supervisor or programming to resolve control media issues Keep machines, tooling, and parts clean; perform routine maintenance Follow all safety practices, PPE requirements, and company procedures Help train new hires and share what you know What you bring High school diploma or equivalent 1 year of relevant machining experience/training Comfort following written, verbal, and diagram instructions Math chops for fractions, decimals, and units of measure Ability to read blueprints and operation sheets to plan setups and operations Hands?on CNC setup/operation skills and data entry in the Traverse Manufacturing System Ability to lift up to 50 lbs How you work Self?motivated and steady under pressure Eager to learn more about advanced manufacturing Reliable, team?oriented, and positive Organized planner who coordinates across teams Clear communicator — written and verbal Why you’ll like it here Growth, not gridlock — real chances to advance Variety — parts change, challenges change, you won’t get bored Belonging — supportive, close?knit crew that has your back Rewards & support Competitive pay and benefits Medical, dental, vision Paid vacation plus 10 paid holidays Employer?funded Basic Life and AD&D Employer?funded STD and LTD Tuition reimbursement 401(k) with company match Employee referral bonuses Performance?driven culture that promotes from within Temperature?controlled facility Community giving and volunteer opportunities Extras like travel assistance and EAP Must?have proficiencies GD&T G?Code M?Code Blueprint reading Machines on deck CNC Mill (3–4 axis VMC) CNC Mill (5 axis VMC)
