Surgeon to join IU'sDepartment of Orthopaedics indowntown
Indianapolis. IU's Orthopaedic group is the second largest in
Indiana. It consists of 40+ physicians, 30+ advanced providers, and
150+ support staff.As Indiana's leading health system dedicated to
improving the health of Hoosiers, we provide reliable access to
specialty care. Position Details:
- Full-time
- Perform complex and simpleorthopaedic spine procedures
- 60% Inpatient / 40% Outpatient
- Work with the Department Chair and orthopaedic spine surgery
colleagues to further build a spine section within the
department
- Work collaboratively with Primary Care, PM&R, Neurosurgery
and all other appropriate disciplines to build a Spine
Program.
- Practice Locations:
- IU Health Methodist Hospital, which is a Level I Trauma Center
in downtown Indianapolis
- Outreach at local IU Health suburban hospitals and clinicsas
needed Qualifications:
- MD or DO
- Board Eligibleor Board Certified in the United States
- Orthopaedic Spine fellowship training required
- Open to new graduates and practicing physicians Compensation
