At BP, as a Category Manager in Retail Operations, you will play a pivotal role in managing product categories to maximize customer satisfaction and profitability. Develop and implement category strategies that align with company marketing and sustainability goals. Collaborate with suppliers to ensure product innovation, quality, and sustainability criteria are met. Conduct market analysis to identify customer needs and product trends. Manage the category P&L, ensuring fiscal targets are met. Negotiate contracts with vendors and oversee supply chain operations to ensure efficient product availability. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional strategies. Monitor and report on category performance with recommendations for improvement.
