This position requires vigilance, integrity, and a readiness to act in varied security scenarios. Ideal candidates will possess an acute awareness of surroundings, the ability to assess and mitigate risks, and maintain a professional demeanor under pressure. Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules. Manage access to facilities, checking credentials and assisting visitors with directions or information. Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to ensure security. Respond promptly to incidents and emergencies within the premises. Prepare detailed reports on what is observed during a patrol. Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary. Enforce property rules and regulations to ensure the safety of all individuals and the property. Excellent observational skills Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to handle typical and crisis situations efficiently and effectively Good physical condition Familiarity with security operations and safety practices Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k State-issued Security Officer license CPR and First Aid certification preferred Any additional certifications related to public safety and security are a plus
